Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab (G12T-75s)
There's not much that I can say about this! Stock 1960a angled cab wearing its original Celestion drivers. Great cab, tough as old boots, and makes A LOT of noise when you plug a Marshall head into it. Awesome.
Marshall 1960AV 4x12 cab (Vintage 30s)
Again, this is a very similar deal to the standard 1960 4x12 (externally, at least), but this one comes with Celestion ‘Vintage’ drivers instead of the usual G12-T75s. The ‘Vintage’ drivers are essentially just Marshall-branded Vintage 30s. I’ve heard folks say that they’re subtly different to regular Vintage 30s, but I’m buggered if I can tell any difference. Whatever, they’re English-made Celestions, and do away with the strong top-and-bottom response of G12-T75s and instead belt out a noticeably middle-heavy noise, like V30s always have. This is a very different playing experience to a regular 1960 ... a little less in your face metal, but a more old-school, classic thing going on. I guess it’s maybe a more (er ...) ‘vintage’ thing, hence the name I suppose.
Whatever, it makes very pleasant noises when it’s being kicked up the ass by a snarling JVM.
I think that this rounds off my little cab collection nicely, as all sound quite different, and I’m all for a bit of variety.

Marshall 1960B 4x12 cab (G12T-75s)
As above, but a straight fronted cab, not angled. These guys normally live beneath an angled cab in a full-stack, and have a deeper cabinet, which generates a little more bottom end. Entirely awesome. I flirted with other speakers (V30s, greenbacks etc) but the openness and clarity of the G12T-75s suits me perfectly.

Marshall MF400 4x12 cab (G12-K100s)
This is a similar deal to the 1960a (being an angled cab, so firing the noise from the top two speakers upwards a little), but is actually a very different beast. The cabinet (which is ridiculously heavy-duty) is bigger than a standard Marshall cab (by about 4"). Not just that, but this is fitted (as standard) with Celestion G12-K100 speakers. They're in there to handle the full output of the MF350 head. They're bassy, but with great top end ... like a G12T-75 but ... just ... MORE. A great cab and great speakers. The "Marshall" logo on these is brushed stainless steel, instead of the white plastic that Marshall normally fit. That's a great touch, but my OCD kinda wishes that it matched the rest of my stack. Whatever. Sounds great.
